About Me
Hello! My name is Veronika. I am a qualified and experienced English/ Russian language teacher. I hold a BA degree in Teaching English as a Foreign (Second) Language (TESOL) and a Certificate in TEFL. I live and work in beautiful British Columbia, in Vancouver, one of the best cities in the world!
I offer on-line and on-site individual classes. My aim is to help you improve your English and acquire awareness of the American society and culture. As the lessons are tailor-made for your particular needs, you can expect great advancement within a short period of time and focus your study on any aspect of the language.
I provide 1:1 classes (in person or on-line) which can be tailor-made to your specific needs and requirements. Your private lessons can include: Grammar, Pronunciation and Accent Reduction, Reading and Writing, Speaking and Conversation, Vocabulary building.
You decide what type of lesson you want to have, but I can also offer you advice if you are not sure about your needs.
Exams and Tests
If you want to sit for a specific test, lessons can be made using the test’s syllabus. Some of the tests you may wish to prepare for are SAT I, SAT II (all aspects), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
English for Specific Purposes
You may wish to study English for a specific purpose. Lessons can cover: English for Business and Commerce, English for Citizenship Exam, English for Immigration.

Just a comment from one of Veronika’s students. She rocks! I’m a Russian native speaker and Veronika helped me with IELTS preparation for immigration to Canada. I got 6.5 in listening, 6 in reading, 6 in writing and 7 in speaking. It was enough to get my 10 points for language proficiency! And believe me, this is a tough test…
